Hungarian Ambassador visits Áras Contae an Chláir
Councillor Alan O'Callaghan, Deputy Mayor of Clare, and Pat Dowling, Chief Executive of Clare County Council, today hosted a visited to Áras Contae an Chláir in Ennis by H.E. Mr. Istvan S. Palffy, the Hungarian Ambassador to Ireland.
Following his visit to Clare County Council's corporate headquarters, the Ambassador was accompanied by Clare County Council's Tourism Unit, Geologist Dr. Eamon Doyle and Architectural Conservation Officer Risteard UaCróinín on a visit to the Michael Cusack Centre in Carron, Lemenagh Castle, Poulnabrone Dolmen, Caherconnell Fort and other sites of archaeological and cultural interest.
